School Administrator Apprentice

Pakefield High School are looking for an organised and energetic new member of the team.

Assisting the Head’s PA /HR Manager within the school environment in aspects of HR and administration. There are opportunities to set up systems within the HR function to ensure consistency in HR administration, and to be involved in assisting the PA function.

You will be/have:

  • Conscientious about confidentiality

  • Able to act in a professional manner,

  • Able to demonstrate organisational skills

  • Proficient in the Microsoft package

  • Excellent communication Skills

  • Customer Service orientated

  • Punctual and Reliable

  • Clean driving licence

The role will involve:

  • Inputting data to the inhouse management information system (SIMS),

  • Dealing with ad hoc staff queries,

  • Ensuring personnel files are up to date and fit for purpose,

  • Assisting with setting up interviews and pre-employment checks,

  • Assisting with school open events and parental engagement events

Working hours and Wages

Monday – Friday 8-4 Term time plus 1 week (39 weeks of the year)

£4.50 an hour for the duration of the apprenticeship age dependent.

There is a level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship attached to this position which should be completed within 12-18 months.

Qualifications Required

5 GCSEs at Grade C (4 for English and Maths) or equivalents
