In this role you will:

  • Act as first point of contact for all incoming enquiries, and for all calls into the business, taking accurate messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate member of the team.

  • Meet and greet all visitors to the business

  • Organise and book travel and hotels for staff as required

  • Organise the diaries of senior members of staff

  • Assist with the management of web, app and digital marketing projects

  • Test projects for usability and quality assurance

  • Assist client services with ticketing requests and administer the Jira (ticketing) system

  • Give excellent customer support

  • Plan events such as team building and celebrations

  • Support data entry using spreadsheets, analytics and run resource and capacity planning reports

  • Carry out the management of petty cash float and banking of cheques

  • Assist with the procurement of office equipment and the reconciliation of receipts

  • Carry out stock control for office and kitchen supplies

  • Managing the office cleaning and ensuring the tidiness of the office

  • Oversee incoming and outgoing post

  • Any other office duties reasonably required.

You should be

  • A people person - previous customer service experience would be a bonus

  • IT literate

  • Educated to GCSEs (or equivalent) or A Levels in Maths and English

Wages/Hours of Work

  • £4.50 per hour

  • 35 hours per week (Mon – Friday 9am – 5:30pm)

  • no shift/weekend work required.

There is a level 3 Business Apprenticeship attached to this position which is expected to last for 12 - 18 months.
