Marketing Executive Apprenticeship


Level: 4 / Duration: 16-18 mths

The Marketing Executive course is one of our core apprenticeships and we are proud of our excellent record of high grades and achievements. Our tutors are professionals with many years of Marketing experience in the industry who are passionate about their subject. They want their apprentices to experience a truly joined up approach of strategy and practical application, fully grasping the concept that Marketing encompasses all of the 7Ps, and as such, enabling them to deliver measurable ROI for the business during their apprenticeship.

Assessment

A portfolio of evidence of their best work
Complete a real project at work and write an associated 3500 word project report with appendices of your actual work and prepare a presentation
Online multi-choice knowledge test of 50 questions in 90 minutes
Meet with the independent assessor to deliver their presentation with associated Q&A and then have a Professional Discussion underpinned by their portfolio of evidence

The training will enable your apprentice to:

  1. Understand and apply a marketing approach to the full marketing mix of the business

  2. Help plan marketing campaigns and deliver them through to completion using key Project Management techniques and methods

  3. Manage and maintain key marketing channels, including digital, offline and social media

  4. Organise and manage the production and distribution of various marketing materials to support the business functions and campaigns

  5. Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, internal and external suppliers and agencies as well as partner organisations

  6. Understand the importance of market research to all marketing efforts when planning and delivering campaigns. Collect and analyse information from a range of sources to understand target audience behaviour and views across the market so they can respond accordingly with tactics and published content

  7. Assist in the achievement of brand positioning to agreed guidelines

  8. Organise and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.

    • The marketing landscape which leads marketing activity

    • Distribution channels of products and services

    • Marketing communication channels and media, digital and offline, and when and how to use them

    • Best practice project and time management techniques
